Allyn International is currently looking for a full-time Business Development Specialist in Greenville, SC to join our organization! What does a Business Development Specialist do? The Business Development Specialist is an integral part of the sales efforts for our Americas region. This person directly supports the Business Development Manager and provides value through pre-sales leads generation, content management, and target market analytics. This Specialist will work with that information to transform it into actionable campaigns and business growth.
Position Details:
Location: Greenville, SC
Work Schedule: 40 hours, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday (some weekend / after-hours support / on-call rotation may be required)
Position Classification: Full-Time; Salaried Exempt
Physical Demands: Sitting, typing, walking, and talking on the phone.

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent college degree preferred
  • Sales or marketing experience preferred
  • CRM/SalesForce experience preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Identify Leads
  • Maintain Leads
  • Contact Leads via phone, email, or mail
  • Facilitate, prepare for, schedule sales meetings
  • Compose letters or emails for sales calls
  • Follow up with current leads on a regular basis
  • Use SalesForce.com to keep track of leads and to maintain the status of contacts
  • Support global business development initiatives
  • Support all P+L leaders with basic sales and system support
  • Operate as an assistant to and as an extension of the Business Development Manager
  • Travel as needed to represent Allyn International in Sales Meetings
  • Understand Allyn services and products to confidently sell them
  • Support other sales, marketing, and business development projects liaising with operational and marketing leaders
  • Creative contribution to sales efforts and strategy for the Americas
  • Provide system support and maintenance for SalesForce data, metrics, and development
